PAPER DRIFT PREVENTING DEVICE IN PAPER EJECTING SECTION OF SHEET PRINTING PRESS

PURPOSE: To prevent a printed sheet from sideway paper drift generated in a blanking operation in a paper ejecting section of a sheet printing press. ;CONSTITUTION: Paper drift preventing devices 7, 8 are disposed on both sides of printed sheet 1 of an upper layer part in a position to which a lift pile 4 is lowered by a fixed amount. One paper drift preventing device 7 on the ejection side of the printed sheets 1 is provided with an arm 10 pivoted in a horizontal plane by the operation of an air cylinder 12 and a paper holding rod 11 pivoted in a vertical plane on the tip of the arm 10 by the operation of a rotary actuator 14. When a lift pile 4 is lowered by a fixed amount to a position for blanking, an air cylinder 12 is operated to regulate the side face of the printed sheets 1 on a pallet 3.
