SPECIAL GUEST SERVICING OPERATING DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PURPOSE: To reduce the waiting time of a special guest and improve the whole elevator system by providing a means for determining a numbered elevator which responds to a call from the elevator hall for a special guest, as a most suitable numbered elevator from the relationship between the time required for the special guest to reach the elevator hall and the waiting time. ;CONSTITUTION: A special guest servicing operating device is provided with an assignment control unit 34 for determining an numbered elevator to be operated exclusively for a special guest based on output of a waiting time calculation unit 33, and an indicating lamp control unit 35 for telling the numbered elevator to be operated exclusively for the special guest, determined by the assignment control unit. For the choice of the numbered elevator to be operated exclusively for the special guest, the assignment control unit 34 reads out the estimated time (t) required for the special guest to reach the elevator hall, from an arrival-time memory, and stores in (t1) a value obtained by subtracting 5 seconds from (t). An elevator in which the estimated response time which can be expected to respond to the elevator hall on which the special guest stands, is below (t1) and the estimated response time is large, is determined based on (t1), as a most suitable numbered elevator to be operated exclusively for the special guest.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
