PURPOSE: To find a failure point and the cause thereof quickly and perfectly. ;CONSTITUTION: Sewage exhausted is once stored in a sewage basin 16, and the amount of the sewage therein is sensed by a sensor pipe 26, and when this amount attains a specified value, a vacuum valve 19 is opened to suck the sewage via a vacuum sewer pipe 18 and send it to a vacuum station. In this vacuum unit 15 structured as described, sensing is made whether or mat the sewage basin 16, vacuum sewer pipe 18, vacuum valve 19, sensor pipe 26, etc., are in normal state.
