PURPOSE: To reduce the clogging and the erosion of an immersion nozzle in a continuous casting of a steel. and to stabilize the operation. ;CONSTITUTION: At the time of continuously casting the Al-Si deoxidized steel containing 0.001-0.004wt.% Ca, 0.003-0.03wt.% Al, the immersion nozzle composed of 50-90wt.% ZrO₂, 5-40wt.% graphite, 5-15wt.% CaO and the other refractory raw material at least at the surface contacting with the molten steel in the inner hole of the nozzle is used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
