EMPTY ROLL-INSERTION DEVICE IN CLOTH ROLL EXCHANGER OF WEAVING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To enable insertion of an empty roll to a woven fabric-winding position without fail by guiding the empty roll through an insertion guide level capable of tilt switching, from a full roll discharge-permeable position to an empty roll discharge-inhibiting position. ;CONSTITUTION: In autoexchange between a full roll 8A in which winding of a cloth roll is completed and an empty roll 8B in a weaving machine, a full roll bracket 30 is moved from a perpendicular state to a horizontal state by actuating a motor 38 and rotating a shaft 28. Discharge-inhibitory effect of a cloth roll stopper 46 is resolved at the same time and the full roll 8A is simultaneously moved through a kick-out member 58 to a temperature storage position on the top part of the above-mentioned bracket 30. Accompanying the above-mentioned movement, a full roll detection level 116 is tiled and a holding arm 109 is tilted following it so as to allow the empty roll 8A to drop along empty roll guides 118 and 120 onto an insertion guide lever 122. The insertion guide lever 122 is tilted from a full roll discharge-permeable position (full line) to an empty roll discharge-inhibiting position (broken line) to guide and insert the empty roll 8B to a woven fabric winding position (S1).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
