ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION HEATING TYPE BATHTUB ADDITIONAL HEATER

PURPOSE: To obtain a safe, economic and compact electromagnetic induction heating type bathtub additional heater which copes with variation in a life style by directly heating a circulation passage attached to a bathtub according to a principle of electromagnetic induction heating. ;CONSTITUTION: A high frequency conversion unit 5 is connected to an induction heating coil 4 mounted in a circulation passage 2 mounted in a bathtub 1. A temperature sensor 6 and an abnormal temperature sensor 11 are mounted on the passage 2, and a temperature sensor 9 for inputting a signal from the sensor 6 is provided. Further, an abnormal temperature sensor 10 for inputting a signal from the sensor 11, a high frequency circuit 7 for supplying a high frequency current to the coil 4, and a control circuit 8 for inputting signals from both the sensors 8 and 10 and controlling the drive of the circuit 7 are provided in the unit 5. Thus, a safe, economic, electromagnetic induction heating type bathtub additional heater which can be adapted for utility of a multistoried residence or an aged person residence.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
