PURPOSE:To permit easy discharge of incondensable gas, stagnated in a condenser, by a method wherein the title device is provided with a diffuser, mixing the incondensable gas in a cooler into refrigerant liquid, and a bleeding means extracting the mixed incondensable gas. CONSTITUTION:When a cooler 40 is cooled, a pressure in the cooler becomes lower than the same in a condenser 30 whereby incondensable gas, stagnated in the condenser 30, is sucked into the cooler 40. On the other hand, refrigerant liquid, resulting from condensation in the condenser 30, is pumped into an evaporator 6 by a refrigerant pump 32, however, the refrigerant liquid induces the inside of the cooler 40 upon passing through a diffuser 17 whereby the incondensable gas is mixed into the refrigerant liquid. The incondensable gas, mixed into the regrigerant liquid, is induced into an air extracting chamber 50 after passing through the evaporator 6 and is mixed into diluting and absorbing liquid, is transported into a gas separator 53 to separate the incondensable gas, whereby the incondensable gas is transported and stored in a gas storing chamber 56. Hydrogen gas in the incondensable gas is separated and discharged while the remaining incondensable gas is discharged to the outside of the title device through a gas discharging valve 60.
