COLOR TEMPERATURE COMPENSATING DEVICE OF COLOR TELEVISION CAMERA

PURPOSE:To obtain a color temperature compensating device of a color television camera capable of executing more appropriate color temperature compensation, by installing plural pairs of color detectors in a photographing lens, and detecting the color temperature of incident light from an object. CONSTITUTION:Reflecting light from an object and their circumferential light detected by color detectors 31 and 32 are converted into electric signals and supplied to a color temperature detector 33 which outputs a color temperature signal. Appropriate color temperature compensation is performed by supplying the color temperature signal outputted from the detector 33 to color temperature compensating devices 34 and 35 and adjusting the gain of a variable gain amplifier 12 for a red signal and a variable gain amplifier 13 for a blue signal with the outputs of the compensating devices 34 and 35. By adding a set value for the focal distance of a photographing lens 36 detected by a detecting means (not shown in the figure) which is separately installed as an evaluating and judging element when a color temperature compensation is performed, to this stage, more appropriate color temperature compensation is executed.
