LIFE SAVING METHOD IN FIRE PREVENTION AND SMOKE DISCHARGE FACILITY AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To improve safety by dividing room space into upper and lower space, providing the upper space with a smoke discharge means and the lower space with a blower means, causing both means to operate upon appearance of smoke due to a fire, and controlling a smoke flow via the adjustment of smoke discharge and air supply amounts in a device for a fire prevention and smoke discharge facility in a building or the like. ;CONSTITUTION: Each delivery port 2 for air supply from the airconditioning main duct 20 of an airconditioning branch device 1 to room space A is separated into upper delivery ports 2 and lower delivery ports 2 and arranged on a wall B in a vertical direction. Upon occurrence of a fire, the upper ports 2 are used for exhaust and the lower ports 2 for air supply. In addition, an exhaust pipe 4 is connected to an air supply pipe 3 in communication with the upper ports 2 via an intake and exhaust selector valve 8, and smoke is discharged from upper space via the selection of the valve 8, upon occurrence of a fire. The air supply pipe 3 for one of the lower delivery ports 2 is also connected to the exhaust pipe 4 via the valve 8 for enabling the selection thereof for smoke discharge, depending upon a smoke condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
