ENVIRONMENTALLY SEALED COLORIMETER USED IN INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT

PURPOSE: To obtain a sealed colorimeter the internal temperature of which does not rise unnecessarily. ;CONSTITUTION: A colorimeter which makes the color characteristics of an object clear is housed in an environmetally sealed enclosure 10 used in an industrial environment. In order to maintain the electronic device and lamp of the colorimeter at acceptable operating temperatures, the lamp is substantially isolated from the electronic device by installing a heat shielding body 220 around the lamp. The shielding body 220 and enclosure 10 is made of excellent heat conductors, such as aluminum, etc. The shielding body 220 is thermally coupled with the environmentally sealed enclosure 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
