摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a refractory material for a burning kiln for cement and lime excellent in spalling resistance and coating property without incorporating chromium which generates hexavalent chromium. ;CONSTITUTION: This refractory material is obtd. by compounding an additive into a mixture of 5-40wt.% magnesia-alumina based spinel powder and the balance substantially magnesia powder. This additive contains ≥20wt.% SiO2 and is added by 0.3-5wt.% in terms of SiO2. It is preferable that the magnesia content in the magnesia-alumina based spinel is 10-30wt.%. Thereby, the obtd. refractory material for the burning kiln for cement and lime shows an improvement in lacking of coating property, assures the spalling resistance, hot work strength, and slaking resistance, and moreover, causes no hazardous problem of producing hexavelent chromium which is very harmful for the environment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
