This detector cell is used in the flow-injection analysis of solutions of non-organic and organic electro-active substances. It has a simplified construction and facilitated servicing, as a result of the implementation of the function of the auxiliary-comparative electrode, which renders unnecessary the need to pass an electrolyte with constant speed and a suitable composition. The cell consists of a cylindrical body (1), in which is formed a vertical cylindrical chamber (2). Inside is positioned a saturated calomel electrode (3), implementing simultaneously the function of comparative and auxiliary electrode. In a horizontal cylindrical channel (4) of the body of the cell, via packers (5) and muffles (6), a perforated cylinder (7) is attached, in whose central cylindrical channel (8) is fitted an ion-exchange membrane (9), while the space formed is filled with a dense filling (10) of platinum particles. This filling functions as an operative electrode.
