2-Benzo £c| furane and chrome derivatives of 5,5-dimethyl- -2-penten-5-olide with general formula I, where R exp.1 is 2-phthalidylidene, 4,5,6,7-tetrachlorine-3-phthalidyline or group of formula II, where R exp.2 is H,Cl,CH sub.3 or OH, R exp.3 is CN or CONH sub.2, are prepared by condensation of 2-cyano-3, 5,5-trimethyl-2-penten-5-olide with respective phthalicanhydride, 4,5,6,7-tetrachlorinephthalicanhydride or R exp.2-chromone-3-carbaldehyde in medium aceticanhydride by catalyst with potassium-acetat at temperature 110 to 130 degrees of Celsius. Compounds have fungicidal, antialgal and grove regulating activities.
