The present Invention relates to a process for the production of Steel where the Inclusions are generally spherical in shape.Comprising: (a) produce a highly refined Molten Steel having a Sulphur content of not more than 0.005% by weight, a Dissolved Oxygen content of not more than 0.005 Weight percent and a temperature not exceeding 3000 degrees F; (b) add Steel highly refined Calcium in an amount of 3 to 25 times the amount of Sulphur.
