This consistometer comprising, in the conventional manner, a cylindrical container (3) containing the material to be analyzed, suitably placed at the pressure and to the measurement temperature desired, and a rotary stirrer internal (7) is moved by a drive mechanism (9), characterized in that the stirrer is mounted on two opposite axial (25, 33) to the inside of said container, with a freedom of axial rotation, and in that it comprises a polar mass (21) able to be coupled to a rotating magnet (45) mounted on the outside of the container, around the pole piece in order to rotate the said mixer, said magnet being connected to a drive mechanism, which makes it possible to measure the drive torque of the agitator and consequently the consistency of the material to be analyzed and its evolution as a function of the parameters of temperature and pressure.
