PURPOSE: To provide a polyethylene blend having a melt index of 0.05 g/10 min or more and improved environmental stress crack resistance by blending a low mol.wt. polyethylene resin and a high mol.wt. ethylene copolymer resin. ;CONSTITUTION: A polyethylene blend consists of 30-70 wt.% of a low mol. wt. polyethylene resin (a) produced by using a chromium catalytic system and having a density of at least 0.955 g/cm3, a melt index of 25-400 g/10 min and a heterogeneity index of 2-35 and 30-70 wt.% of a high mol.wt. ethylene copolymer resin (b) produced by using a titanium catalytic system and having a density of 0.955 g/cm3 or less, a high load melt index of 0.1-50 g/10 min and a hoterogeneity index of 2-10 and has a melt index of 0.05 g/10 min or more.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
