The present invention relates to an agent or concentrate for the protection of sawn timber against wood-discolouring fungi, containing a phenol-based and an organoiodine-based fungicide, if desired other fungicides and insecticides, dissolved in an organic chemical solvent or solvent mixture or in a mixture of water and an organic chemical solvent or solvent mixture and at least one emulsifier.
