A circuit for counting toll-free kilometres in electronic fare registers, composed of route and time pulse generating unit, microprocessor, display unit, tariff switch and back-up power supply source, characterised in that it has an additional multi-bit counter (L), whose input (A) is connected to output of gate EX-OR (B), to whose first input are supplied pulses (ID) from the route pulse generator (UD), whereas the second input of the gate (B) is connected to the first output port (PO) of the microprocessor (CPU), however, the oldest input (Qn) of the counter (L) is connected to the input port (PI) of the microprocessor (CPU), whereas the reset input (R) of the counter (L) is connected to the second output port (PR) of the microprocessor (CPU).IMAGE
