The invention concerns a head for facing and polishing marble, granite, ceramic clinker, and/or any other hard material, equipped with four or more cutter block arbours, where the axes of the cutter block arbours are slightly slanting, some towards the inside and some towards the outside. The abrasive works only therefore along one section and guarantees adherence of the material to the work surface.
