This invention concerns a tool for making truncated cone blind holes of increasing circular section and in proportion to the depth, characterised by the fact that the said tool, which is basically hollow and cylindrical, at its excavating end, is equipped with a series of notches parallel to the axis of the same, which said notches give the end a certain flexible capacity for distortion which allows a hole as above described to be obtained. The invention also concerns the relevant method.
