A device for the mechanism for a cremone bolt closure for French doors, windows and door and window frames in general, mainly consisting of a box-shaped component which is of cylindrical shape and open corresponding to a base fitted with a flattened cylindrical cover component, in which the base of the box-shaped component and the cover component have a pair of through holes suitable for housing two square bars, one of which can be integral to a handle and the other, which can be inserted inside a cremone bolt closure. The box-shaped component contains, arranged to correspond with the pair of through holes, a pair of gears with square holes in the centre, which are complementary to the two bars and the two gears are interconnected by a pair of non-working wheels supported in a rotary manner inside the box-shaped component.
