IT IS INTRODUCED, BY SUCCESSIVE LOADS, IN THE FOOD ZONE (15) OF A FERMENTER (2), THE CELLULOSIC SUBSTRATE IN A COMPRESSED STATE; A QUANTITY OF SUBSTRATE SUITABLE FOR ANAEROBIC FERMENTATION IS INTRODUCED IN A CONTINUOUS WAY. THE MASS OF WORK ADVANCES IN THE DIRECTION OF THE EXTRACTION ZONE (17) OF THE FERMENTER, FROM WHICH THE TWO DEGRADED SUBSTRATES ARE EXTRACTED. THE BIOGAS FORMED IN THE UPPER PART OF THE FERMENTATION AREA IS COLLECTED CONTINUOUSLY (16). THE ORIGINALITY OF THE PROCEDURE IS TO SUBMIT EACH ONE OF THE CARBS OF THE CELLULOSIC SUBSTRATE, WHEN THEY ARE PENETRATING IN THE AREA (16), TO A SUPPLEMENTARY COMPRESSION THAT LEADS TO AN INCREASE IN ITS DENSITY, WHICH HAS AS A CONSEQUENCE TO RAISE THE FIXING POTENTIAL BACTERIA. THE SUITABLE SUBSTRATE FOR FERMENTATION CAN BE RECYCLED, WITHOUT PUMPING MEANS; THE COMPRESSION OF A LOAD OF CELLULOSIC SUBSTRATE, IN FACT, CAUSES AN INCREASE IN THE LEVEL OF SUITABLE SUBSTRATE FOR FERMENTATION IN THE AREA (17), AT THE SAME TIME AS A DECREASE OF THIS LEVEL IN THE AREA (15).
