CONTINUOUSLY ADVANCING TRACK MAINTENANCE ORREHABILITATION MACHINEABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA continuous action track maintenance or rehabilitationmachine comprises a first machine frame, a carrier framearranged between the undercarriages supporting the firstmachine frame on the track, ballast tamping and tracklifting and lining units vertically adjustably mounted onthe carrier frame, and a drive linking the carrier frame tothe first machine frame for longitudinally displacing thecarrier frame with respect thereto. A second machine frameis linked to the rear end of the first machine frame, and aplow arrangement is vertically adjustably mounted on thesecond machine frame between the undercarriages thereof, theplow arrangement comprising a drive connecting the plowarrangement to the second machine frame for verticallyadjusting the plow arrangement with respect thereto, acenter plow for plowing ballast between the rails of thetrack, shoulder plows for plowing ballast laterally adjacenteach one of the rails, and a drive for operating each one ofthe plows.
