ABSTRACTProcess and reagent for the determination offructosamine in body fluidsThe present invention provides a process for thedetermination of fructosamine in body fluids by thereaction of a sample solution with a colour reagent,wherein the sample liquid is mixed with a buffer solutionwith a pH value of from 9 to 12, a colour-forming reagentand uricase, as well as with at least one detergent, andthe chronological change of the extinction is measuredkinetically in a temperature range of from 20 to 40°C.at the earliest after 5 minutes.The present invention also provides a reagent forthe determination of fructosamine in body fluids,containing a colour reagent and an oxidising-actingenzyme, wherein it contains a buffer substance with apH value of from 9 to 12, a colour-forming compound,uricase, as well as at least one detergent.
