An apparatus for automatically washing teats of generic dairy animals, specifically dairy cattle, comprises a box-type body provided with an opening for introducing a teat thereinto, and a handgrip jutting out from the box-type body to which it is connected by a means of the swivel type. This handgrip makes the apparatus easier to handle by an operator during a teat washing operation.
