In a method for producing a roller conveyor track having supporting sections (1) extending essentially in the conveying direction and having conveying rollers (2) arranged on the supporting sections (1), and in a roller conveyor track having mutually parallel, spaced-apart supporting profiles (1) which extend essentially in the conveying direction and have conveying rollers (2) arranged on or between these, for the purpose of proposing a modular construction for roller conveyor tracks with any desired axial spacing of the conveying rollers (2) and easy accessibility for a conversion of the module, in which the requirements in respect of resistance moment, torsion moment, manufacturing accuracy and accuracy of adaptation to conveying devices for further guiding are simultaneously satisfied, irrespective of whether the roller conveyor track is driven by the workpiece or has its own drive, a releasable connection and fixing of a plurality of sections is proposed, the connection part (12, 15) being simultaneously displaceable in a guided manner and the web sections (5) in their height, width and thickness also meeting the requirements for resistance and torsion moment.
