Suction hood as part of a wall-cleaning installation, having a sandblasting device which is used underneath the hood and the dust development of which is limited to the dust-catching space bounded by the hood and is removed from there by suction means. For mounting in the open areas of a working scaffold, the hood comprises a peripheral wall (1) of flexible material; its contour is defined by skeleton tubes (3, 5) inserted into pockets (4) at the corners of the hood, which tubes are secured to the scaffold (14) with the aid of fastening means (12, 13); emerging from the peripheral wall is a flexible curtain (6) which is movable, as a seal, relative to the facade, is supported transversely to its direction of extension by distributed spacers (3a, 5a, 8a) and can be set at varying distances from the facade.
