Use of pravastatin for preventing onset of restenosis after angioplasty

Administration of pravastatin alone or in combination with an ACE inhibitor such as captopril or ceranapril, prior to, during and/or after angioplasty prevents or reduces the risk of restenosis following angioplasty.
