The present invention relates to a burner body for a cigar lighter, of the type comprising for its electrical power supply a first connector (70) and second connector (50). According to the invention this body (33) is characterised in that it carries a lamp (80) with its two electrical contacts (51, 61), and in that said lamp (80) and its two said contacts (51, 61) are implanted next to the first (70) and to the second (50) connectors, within the overall transverse outline of the main part of the burner body (33), and in that one or other of the first (70) and second (50) supply connectors is extended to form one of the contacts of the lamp (80).
