In order to unify the manufacture of the support for a boiling water reactor, a one-piece base plate (1) is welded to the edge of a molded conical connector (200). The end pieces of the coolant tubes (WR) and the fuel rods (FR) can be inserted or screwed into this plate and immobilized by means of bolts. The support and the coolant tube form the skeleton of the element.
