Apparatus for the treatment of patients with papulosquamous disorders

An apparatus for treatment of papulosquamous diseases, in particular removal of plaques from the skin, comprises a spray device capable of reciprocatively impelling a spray under pressure against the plaques so that impingement of the spray under the reciprocting pressure debrides the plaques, and pressure control means adapted to adjust the spray to a maximum pressure based on the patient's tolerance and on the thickness of the plaques so as to maximise the debriding action thereby allowing removal of the plaques from the skin so that medication can reach the affected cells.
