The sLT sulfidoleukotriènes detection method of LTC4 groups, LTD4 and LTE4 by a single enzyme immunoassay ELISA based on the interaction occurring between one or more anti-sLT monoclonal antibody and a conjugate sLT to a detection enzyme. A putative biological sample contain sLT is contacted with a monoclonal anti-sLT antibody bound to a carrier. When the sLT in the sample have bound to the antibody is added to the loaded vector conjugate compound of sLT and a detection enzyme. Finally, it is judged the amount of conjugate bound to the vector quantity which is in inverse proportion to the sLT bound to the vector. This process is used for in vitro tests for the diagnosis of inflammatory diseases such as rheumatic diseases, immune deficiencies, allergies or pseudo-allergies. If one primer biological samples with citokines, for example the initiators IL3, IL5 or GM-CSF, we can increase the sensitivity of the method. The assay is sensitive enough to detect the sLT produced by some cells subjected to the reaction in tiny whole blood volumes.
