Compounds of the formula IMAGE in which X represents -S-, -SO- or -SO2-; R1 represents C7-10-alkyl or C7-10-alkoxy; R2 represents a radical of the formula IMAGE R3 represents carboxyl or lower alkoxycarbonyl; and n represents 1, 2 or 3; and salts of carboxylic acids of the formula I can be used as medicines, e.g. for the treatment of autoimmune disorders or disorders having a strong immunological component, such as psoriasis.
