PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A POLYESTER FILAMENT STRETCH SEWING THREAD

Polyester filament stretch sewing thread is manufactured through dyeing process in which antistatic agent of 2-5 % is added to polyester yarn produced by conventional method to prevent the occurrence of static-charge, while amino-silicone solution of 3-4 % being added to prevent snarl-phenomenon of sewing thread, and cross-winder process in which dimethyl siloxane type silicone oil of 2-3 % is added to eliminate nap of the thread. The sewing thread made by this method has an improved heat-resistance and durability against temperature change.
