The heating boiler has a furnace (1), which burns a crushed solid fuel (5) on a grate (4). The fuel is moved by a transporter device (17). It is pre-combusted in a first air flow, supplied by a blower (6), and post-combusted in an upward-directed discharge channel (11), under the admixture of a second part air flow. The furnace is enclosed on all sides by the boiler walls. Side- and rear walls (15) are formed to contain water, which serves as heat carrier. The front boiler wall (20) has an opening (19a) with door (19) in the area of the furnace. The opening is dimensioned, so that the furnace can be dismantled through it. USE/ADVANTAGE - Solid fuel heating boiler burns chopped wood, including green wood.
