A feed installation for mangles incorporates a transport belt (2) for supplying laundry items to be angled, a suction chute (7) and a suction fan (9) for producing an air current through the suction chute (7). The machine housing (8) is subdivided by means of a partitioning (15) into underpressure and overpressure sections (17). The suction fan (9) communicates with an opening in this partitioning. The underpressure section (16) is connected to the suction chute (7) and the overpressure section (17) features a discahrge opening (18) leading out into the open. The suction chute (7) incorporates at least one recirculation opening (19), through which air can be led back from the overpressure section (17) into the suction chute (7).
