PURPOSE:To switch-over a sample accurately and simply, by interposing a partition between chemical analysis slides to switch-over the sample on an automatic sampler with the detection of the partition. CONSTITUTION:Chemical analysis slides 4 on which different bar codes 11 are printed for each measuring item are loaded from under a cartridge 6 or an analyzer 1 according to a measuring sequence of samples. Partitions 5 are loaded between slides for samples A, B, C, D and E. For example, the partitions employ those not printed. On the other hand, a tray 9 of an automatic sample 3 houses the samples A, B, C, D and E in the same sequence as that of loading the cartridge 6 with slides. Analysis is started with the sample A, when a slide transferred from the cartridge 6 is a partition 5, the tray 9 of the automatic sampler 3 is turned by one cap 10 and then, analysis of the sample B is performed. Thereafter, the same operation is repeated.
