The regulation proceeds cyclically from alarm generation to differential measurement among the three phases (A,B,C), measurement of the active power, calculations of new compensation and symmetrisation powers, a check on the possibilities of symmetrisation, a calculation of the final state vector, and comparison of this with the initial state. Four standard reactive power compensators (MSz) are used for measurement and alarm generation, with a proprietary AAC circuit, a customised controller (VM), single-phase capacitors and appropriate switchgear. ADVANTAGE - Network is protected against asymmetrical loading and overload, and its capacity can be utilised optimally.
