Carrying case structure - has natural stone sides which are made of layer of stone, plastics laminate, honeycomb structure and lining inside

The case has one or more externally visible surfaces made of natural stone panels (1), 1-5 millimetres thick and stuck onto a plastics laminate (2) 0.2 to 2 millimetres thick. The plastics laminate is joined to a honeycomb structure (3) of plastics or lightweight metal with a thickness of 3 to 20 millimetres, and a honeycomb edge of 2-10 millimetres. The side facing the case interior has a plastics layer (4) and a textile or leather lining (5). The plastics layers (2,4) are reinforced by plastics, glass, carbon or porcelain fibres. The case corners have metal or plastics reinforcements (6,8) stuck onto or into them. USE - Square or cylindrical case, for documents, jewellery, toiletries, travelling articles.
