The heat quantity meter has a throughput meter (3) for the medium carrying the heat, with a shaft (4) rotating in proportion to the throughput. A temp. sensor (12) responds to temp. variations with changes in its dimensions or shape. One free end of the shaft acts rotationally on a cone wheel (7) and the variations in the dimensions or shape of the temp. sensor are transferred as translation motion of a thrust rod (10) carrying a rotor wheel (8). Rotations of the cone wheel are converted into rotations of the roller which is connected to a counter mechanism (17). USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for household radiator heating systems or systems which use hot water. Meter operates self-sufficiently and contains robust, simple, durable parts.
