The electromagnets (5,4) are built into upper and lower sections (1,2) of a housing (3) which are sepd. by a gap (6) narrowing with increasing distance from the axis. A spring diaphragm (7') within the gap (6) carries a two-part contact bolt (9) protruding through a fixed contact ring (11) and terminated with the moving contact (10). A nominal current supplied (13) to the lower electromagnet (4) is compared with the variable current fed (14) to the upper one (5). ADVANTAGE - Switching operation is carried out automatically whenever set-point value is exceeded or measured value falls short of it.
