In a spinning projectile fuse with a centrifugal safety device for a percussion pin, having a strip and ball safety device for a barrier sleeve which is slidable on the pin and which fits in a movable detonator holder, the novelty is that (i) the strip safety device (11) is secured in the safe position by a bolt (1) which is held in the safe position by a spring (3); (ii) during projectile acceleration, the bolt (1) is axially displaced against the force of the spring (3) to release the strip safety device (11); and (iii) the bolt (1) has radial play in the retracted position (18) within its guide (17) and can be radially deflected so that the bolt (1) is held by abutment of its bevel (4 or 5) on the bevel (6 or 19) of the bush (2) only after firing acceleration is completed and spin has been generated.
