The stacking chair or arm-chair (1) has a supporting-frame (2) with four legs. A seat (3) is fixed to the frame to which is also fixed a backrest (5). The frame's left and right front legs each have a plug-connection (9) with laterallay outward-pointing parts. One part of the plug connection is a container (12), the other an insert (13). The lower end of the upward and forward sloping left and right leg has a protruding part (10) at its back, with a bearing surface for the foot of a stacked chair. The backs of the arm-rests (7) each have a guide-recess for the back leg of the stacked chair. The outsides of the arm-rests (7) have a protruding section acting as a stop for the arm-rest of an adjacent chair. ADVANTAGE - The stacking chair is quickly and easily assembled and dismantled, and is comfortable.
