摘要
The method of measuring the mass flows of a multiple component flow with a nuclear magnetic moment involves using the different products of speed and associated spin-grid-relaxation time for each individual component to measure the individual mass flows. The flow is polarized in an input magnet of sufficient length so that every component is continuously saturated. Varying magnetisation along the pipe is produced by the outflow motion of the multiple component flow. The point along the pipe is determined at which the magnetisation has decayed until only the component with the maximum product contributes to the magnetisation (M(s)). ADVANTAGE - Enables mass flows to be determined without physically separating the components.
