Two counterposed contact bodies (1) are fitted in the vacuum switch chamber and are fixed on retention bolts (3). The contact bodies are pot-shaped so that they have a central hollow formation. In the cylindrical wall of the pot-shaped contact pieces (1), several, e.g. four, inclined running slots are distributed over the periphery. Between the slots (2), the walls (8) form coil-shaped current conductors. The contact material is formed as a ring disc and the width of the disc in a radial direction is 0.95 to 1.25 times the width of the face surface of the wall of the contact body. ADVANTAGE - Higher current loading of contacts is possible.
