The carton for storing a video tape cassette is produced by folding a single, cut out sheet of material. The single sheet has a double panel section (4) that forms the top. One of the panels (4') is stepped to provide a location (11). The top panel also has a centre cut out (9) to facilitate removal of the cassette. The lower section (3) has a double panel (1) that forms the closing flap. Side elements (5) are bent over and are bonded to seal the unit. All folds are made along preformed crease lines. ADVANTAGE - Simplifies construction of cartons.
