The idle travel of a master cylinder on a vehicle brake booster first introduces into the bore of the piston (3) a hardenable plastics for joining the booster (1) pressure bolt. The pressure bolt (4) displaces the piston until the balancing hole (8) is passed by, and the piston is forced back such that the plastics(5) flows over the union (6) of the pressure bolt and time is allowed for the plastic to harden. USE/ADVANTAGE - For brake master cylinder-servo booster combination,with increased tolerances and min. idle motion.
