The method involves splitting the model body (2) into N individual elementary model bodies (3-6) using CAD software. An elementary body corresp. to each respective elementary model body is cut from a suitable material e.g. metal and the N elementary bodies are put together to form the finished body. The elementary bodies may plate shaped, with a thickness less than or equal to 0.1 mm. The parts may be assembled by laser welding. ADVANTAGE - Quick mfr.
