The resonator arrangement contains an upper carrier plate, an elongated centre section and a lower resonator section. At least one separating plane (50) in the region of the centre section divides the resonator arrangement into an upper (52) and lower (53) part. A number of different lower parts can be connected to the same upper part. The central section contains a specimen tube, a microwave line and an actuator for a coupling arrangement into the resonator section. Mechanical and electrical connections are mounted in the separating plane. ADVANTAGE - Developed to enable very different types of measurement to be performed without changing entire arrangement.
