The mechanically actuated switch has a movable switch actuating part (1) with two switch components (2, 3); one fitted to the actuating part and the other stationary. One component is in the form of a Hall element (2) coupled to the electronic circuit, while the other switching component is in the form of a permanent magnet (3), coacting contactlessly with the Hall element during the movement of the actuating part to generate a switching signal. Pref. the Hall element is arranged on a common substrate (4) with the electronic circuit. The permanent magnet may be fitted to the switch actuating part, while the Hall element is stationary. USE/ADVANTAGE - Accessory circuitry in motor vehicles, with static and dynamic, mechanical relief of electronic circuit and its components.
